more mp3 goodness a la fluffy t. bunny - hello mr clouds kind of an elctro punk #, it’s kind of funny :) i’ve always wanted to do some upbeat punky electro stuff and maybe potentially hopefully this is the first of many ….

also some on myspace.. the above is there, as is ‘bo dubby’, a dabbling in dub.. features real electric guitar , even a solo !!
los angelos penetratos ’swamp stone scar’ features, some more real electric guitar but in the metal format (insert whatever the appropriate emoticon for being satanic is).. myself and friend andy taylor decided to record some metal so we trundled off and did so (more satanic emoticons).
it was all improvised and is very tough possibly i think so! even though i may be biased (satanic emoticon).

oh yes not to forget the remix of the victor xray track new sharp. whupped together in about 2 1/2 hours, i still want to change a little bit of it but maybe one day when no-one is looking ,,

and the below was crawling all over me, i think it had decided to live on my chair until i released it into the wilds of one of our pot plants :)

Clan Analogue presents…
‘Cash for Analogue’

A fundraiser to help cover the costs of producing the new documentary: ‘Clan Analogue: Plug In & Switch On’

Clan Analogue have been working with Manikin Films on the production of a new documentary about the history of Australia’s longest-running electronic arts collective and record label.  ‘Clan Analogue: Plug In & Switch On’ will be included on the forthcoming Clan Analogue DVD and CD retrospective Re Cognition.

To help raise funds to cover costs associated with the documentary’s production, Clan Analogue are holding ‘Cash for Analogue’ at Troika Bar, 106 Little Lonsdale St, on Thursday the 26th of October.  ‘Cash for Analogue’ will be an evening of partying, fun and merriment, with some celebratory electronic sounds and rhythms thrown in to the mix.

See the world premiere screening of ‘Plug In & Switch On’, including bloopers.  Groove along as Clan Analogue celebrities Nicole Skeltys (Biftek), Nic Lowrey (DJ Toupee) and Bo (winduptoys) play favourite selections from their extensive record collections.

The electronic music rarities auction includes hundreds of dollars worth of prizes, giving people a chance to get some choice items of Australian electronic music history, such as vintage drum machines, the complete set of 90s Clan Analogue vinyl releases, the last ever new copy of Telemetry Orchestra’s debut album, premium tickets to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and much more.  All this plus door prizes, raffles, drink specials and the relaxing ambience of Troika Bar.  Entry is only $8.  See you there!

Clan Analogue presents Hump! at Horse Bazaar

Clan Analogue are back at Horse Bazaar for another installment of Hump! Serving up some tasty beats and spicy visuals, cooked up by some of Australia’s finest electronic chefs, Clan Analogue invites you to drop in and let your eyes and ears feast, at 397 Little Lonsdale Street, on Wednesday the 18th of October from 8pm till late.

ZOG (DJ)
Joining us is long time Clan Analogue member Zog, who has built a reputation for putting on the HeadSpace series of minimal techno parties. A bedroom music producer and obsessive nerd, Zog has brought his mix of minimal dub and the occasional Thai country blues song to various venues and outdoor chill zones, from Melbourne to the beaches of Thailand.

THE GOOD OMEN (Live)
Hailed as a hero of electronic synth-rock on the Soviet stadium circuit in his homeland during the 70s, The Good Omen became noticed in the West with his records carried by sailors from Vladivostok to progressive music fans in Japan. Gradually his reputation spread via American soldiers stationed there until now, when he prepares to meet his apotheosis with a new concept album about the final struggle between Good and Evil. Hear him at Hump with a rare performance in an intimate venue.

BOYRONIN (Live)
Stepping out of the laboratory, with his groovebox under one arm, laptop under the other and a fist full of samples is Boyronin, ready to take you on a magic carpet ride through dark atmospheres and minimal beats.

JONTY BURTON (VJ)
Hump regular Jonty Burton will once again be painting the walls with his warped, video mash, fusing Eisenstein with disco and laying his own rabid animated rants over the top. This endeavour has found him gracing the screens of the Electundra music festival and the airwaves of ABC TV’s Rage.

THE VENUE: Horse Bazaar, 397 Lt Lonsdale St, Melbourne
THE TIME: Wednesday, the 18th of October, 8pm till 1am.
